FAQ
Using the T9
The T9 is an urban vehicle, designed for its primary purpose: surfing the city. It's not built for stunts or extreme sports.
The T9 can support a maximum weight of 110 kg.
Folding the T9 is simple and takes just 5 seconds in three easy steps. Watch the tutorial video here:
- Unscrew the folding lever clamp.
- Rotate the handlebar stem until the clip faces the motor (180 degrees turn).
- Hook the attachment located under the screen to the motor's upper end with a simple push (no need to activate the lever). You'll hear a click.
Et voilà! Your T9 is now folded, locked and ready to go!
To unfold, it's super simple:
- Press the trigger behind the screen.
- Rotate the handlebar stem so the front light faces the street.
- Tighten the clamp until the structure is securely locked.
Take the T9 wherever you want, whether it's in your arms or rolling upside down on its front wheel. It's up to you!
Quick tip: to carry the T9, place your hand in the center of the stem. The weight will naturally balance between the front and rear, making it easier to carry.
We store it in a unique position for such a machine: the Monolito.
When folded and placed vertically, it becomes ultra-compact, and perfect for storing in your apartment, your car trunk, or even at the office, taking up minimal space.
In the Monolito position, the T9 occupies just 30cm by 50cm of floor space and stands 1.2m tall.
Plus, it looks like a true masterpiece!
Another innovation from Urban Native: charge it with a USB-C charger. This is a first for electric vehicles.
The charging port is located on the left side of the T9, near the rear light, and is protected by a waterproof cover.
Check out our quick tutorial YouTube video on how to charge your T9: Follow the link
Thanks to the USB-C charger, charging is quick! It takes less than 3 hours to charge the battery to 90% and about 4 hours to reach 100% from a full discharge.
Yes, most bike accessories can be added to the T9.
We're currently working on a range of accessories. It won't be long now!
Take it easy, it's even easier than riding a bike. It's super intuitive. Just start slow the first time, in a safe open space.

Specifications
The T9 is proudly European! It was conceived and then developed by an international team of engineers and designers between Barcelona and Paris. It's then crafted in our own workshop in Portugal, located in the heart of the "Bike Valley," where it is meticulously produced and assembled before being shipped straight to your door.
Believe it or not, the T9 weighs just 9.9 kg, making it the lightest two-wheeled vehicle on the market.
You won't find anything more compact:
-Unfolded: 1.2m x 1.2m
-Folded: 1.2m x 0.50m x 0.30m
-In Monolito position (upside down, resting on the handlebars): takes up just 30cm x 50cm of floor space.
Unbeatable!
The T9 is a powerful machine built to keep you safe while cruising at speeds typically between 25 and 35 km/h, depending on the laws of the area where it is used.
The deck is 18 cm at its widest point.
We've added a textured surface over the carbon fiber coating for better grip and stability during your rides.
The T9 is IPX5 certified, so you can ride in light rain. You'll also be protected by the two removable mudguards. However, we recommend avoiding heavy rain or puddles. Be sure to close the USB-C port to prevent to prevent water from getting inside.
The T9 has a braking power of 600W.
It features a fully balanced front and rear braking system. Like motorcycles, the lever distributes braking force evenly. Additional settings in the app let you personalize your riding experience.
We've designed and incorporated an electromagnetic brake into the T9. An electromagnetic brake is a type of braking system that uses the force of the motor to provide stopping power when braking, an electrical current is generated by the motor and is used to recharge the battery. It has a powerful regenerative charging capacity of 20 amps which gives you an outstanding braking power of 600W.
This system allows the T9 to recover up to 20% of the energy used per ride.
The battery is cleverly concealed in the tube beneath the deck, giving the T9 its sleek, minimalist look. It is easy to maintain and replace, when necessary.
The battery offers an average range of 25 km, depending on factors like weight on the T9, and speed of the ride. It comes with a 3-year or 1000-charge warranty.
Suspension isn't necessary thanks to the combination of large Gravel tires (12 inches in the front, 8.5 inches in the rear) and the titanium frame, which absorb road shocks while keeping the T9's design clean and minimalist.
The T9 is equipped with Gravel tires (12 inches in the front and 8.5 inches in the rear), designed to provide excellent stability and grip on various terrains.
These wider tires help absorb shocks and improve comfort, while still delivering solid performance on harder surfaces.

Nope, you don't need the Urban Native app to ride your T9. But trust us, it makes the experience way cooler.
With the app, you can customize tons of settings to tailor your ride exactly how you like it.
For example, you can tweak 3 different driving modes: speed limits, kick-up power, coasting, and more.

Download, sync, and explore. It's super intuitive.

The Urban Native app lets you fine-tune your ride to match your current vibe, thanks to 3 fully configurable driving modes: Chill, Standard, and Boosted.
Each mode lets you adjust 6 settings:
-« Speed Limiter », limits the speed to a certain value (max. 25 km/h).
-« Kick Up Speed » is the speed you need to reach, pushing with your foot, before the machine starts. If you want to start without giving a kick, just
select 0.
-« Max Power » adjusts acceleration and
climbing speed.
-« Acceleration Slope » adjusts power delivery at startup.
-« Coasting » represents the motor brake level when the acceleration lever is released.
-« Motor Brake Power » determines the motor brake (rear brake) power when pressing the brake.
There's also a handy « Reset this mode to Default » button to revert each setting back to factory default for the selected mode.
Privacy
No tracking here. Your rides are your business. At Urban Native, we prioritize your privacy, which is why we don't track or monitor your T9's location. Once it's yours, it's completely in your hands.
Security
The T9 is designed to be compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around safely. But if you need to leave it outside for a while, you can lock it up just like a bike by securing a lock, through the front frame when it's unfolded.
While a helmet might not be required in every European city, it's definitely recommended for your safety. We suggest checking local laws to make sure you're meeting safety standards.
The front and rear LED lights come on automatically, so you can see and be seen in the dark.
We highly recommend wearing a helmet while riding the T9. Gloves are also a great idea for added protection.
Always check your local regulations to ensure you're meeting all safety requirements.
Depending on where you're riding, you may need to get insurance.
For example, in most countries like France and Spain, liability insurance is mandatory to ride an e-scooter, while in Poland it's not.
Make sure to check the rules in your country or city to know if insurance is required for e-scooter use.
